our consumption of media would argue against that.

this is a much better thread that reading that ding dong above talk about how much the poor rich people pay in taxes.

April Fool’s on you!

huh.

Yes, she ACTUALLY claimed she was black because she’s. Sicilian.

I mentioned in my other response that people *do* do it here...it’s just that they have to do it on the street, or in super small driveways or tiny garages.  Not much space to bang around in or to store tools with easy access to the car.  and not really a place to do work that takes days or weeks to really take care

I’m really in a situation where I would need to latch on with someone who knows how to do this stuff and, at an advanced age, function as an apprentice. that’s my fantasy anyway.

this right here. add in the cost of labor and a mechanic’s parts markup and where are we then?

one big union!

can’t give this enough stars.

first thing I thought of!

he walks around like the guy in QWOP

maybe not? I saw his LoTR in the theater when it came out.  that and wizards are my main comparison.  not sure this matches up but want to see the whole thing when it’s available to see...

hoo boy, that’s sad...

*love* the voice cast.

hahahahah!  it looks like it!

I *totally* forgot about the disney rotoscoping.  snow white was amazing...

I am all down with the rotoscoping...the actual art was what felt a little lacking to me. Like, the foreground characters in bakshi’s LoTR were pretty basic, but seemed better rendered than here, and some of the backgrounds were spectacular.

I’m ok with rotoscop in general, but I agree that this really seems lacking lacking.

I didn’t see heavy metal when it came out, but i did see bakshi’s LoTR and Wizards, which I think was also rotoscoped...
