I think that running for president is a much different animal than running for house or senate. lots more travel and many more issues. I think that she did the small meetings with people when she could, but you can’t really reach everyone you need to that way when the country is this big.

two things about hillary. first she was the spouse of a successful president, so in theory, as a freshman senator, she would theoretically have more clout that a normal human being.
