as long as there are home improvement shows, shiplap will *never* go out of style!

so depressing.

don’t forget the shiplap.

safety first!

yah, I looked at the back of this and thought, “Is this another interesting cadillac concept that will regrettably never see the light of day?”

I hear you. I left because the job market was terrible in the mid 90s and I really couldn’t get an appropriate job. But when you visit a place for 25 years and spend time with friends (and their kids) there, it really gets in your blood.

I lived there from 93 to 95 and have been back almost every year since at least once, usually for carnival (I march with a group that goes on foot in the tuck’s parade).  Not going to make it for carnival this year (!!!) but I will be in town for two weeks in january if you want to meet up for a poboy!

I used to work in the offices above those stores! We could always hear mardi gras mambo come through the floor during carnival and we used to steal tower’s foam core to make mardi gras costumes.

it’s the gift that keeps on giving.

you and me both.

anyone out there remember genesis II?

she is a queen, in the most regal, royal sense.

starring for the greatest show of the early 1980s

I miss this guy!

his response was the real beatdown.

and if they produce that, they can give it that name also.

If not for its arch conservative bent, the NY Post would be the greatest newspaper in the world.

It was good, and I suppose that it’s a good thing that it left people (like me), wanting more.

In profile, at least.

Not a consumer product, granted. Elegance is in the eye of the beholder, though. That’s what makes horse races!
