That to me is the way funnier part of this story. Is this man ordering a Cybertruck the direct cause of him separating from his wife? Probably not!

I wonder if his pending purchase of the CyberTruck had anything to do with his marital separation?
Yeah, you’ve really got to build yourself a cult like base of followers, and have inherited a slave run emerald mine to make it work.
Listen up Minaj. It’s a mirage. This is sabotage.
Meanwhile, me shouting to my husband: “fuck yeah, babe, Jenny Nicholson put out a four hour video this time!”
Probably worth mentioning - almost no one I know who loves longform video essays on youtube just watches them like a movie. I cooked dinner, did dishes, did laundry, swept, and played three runs of Slay the…
If Jenny were running a content mill trying to get constant attention she would probably release more than one video in a year.
there would have been a tidal wave of negativity in the culture about it if this was happening at a large scale
Doubt away but it’s a good video.
I don’t think she went after the closure was announced. I forget exactly (it was a long video) but she mentions that she called to book a room so early that many amenities were not even offered to her and she wasn’t even aware of them until much later.
4 hours!? I think I’ll wait for the six-hour Plinkett review of this review.
I wasn’t there but it seemed pretty obvious that both were sorely lacking to me from the video.
I think one of the main ways she hammers this home is how she paid for an additional “photography” package, because she figured she’d be taking video the whole time and wanted someone else to ensure there were some nice photos of her experience. But then when she got there she saw that all the photographers seemed to…
Great thorough analysis by Jenny. Thought I was only going to watch the first hour and ended up watching the entire video essay. I too was considering staying at the Galactic Starcrusier given that I have yet had the opportunity to check out Batuu or anything Star Wars related in Disney parks. After hearing a couple…
One of the things she acknowledges upfront is that different people will have different experiences, but that her experience was far from unique. It seems that part of the experience is built around some people having a better experience than others. For example, the pole that obscured her view during the dinner show…
Jenny is a Star Wars nerd, a theme park nerd, and a theater nerd. She spent $6000 to go to this thing, and spent quite a bit of time defending things other naysayers have complained about.
How wide is your teenage son, exactly?
Oh? By seating herself behind the pole? Is that something she chose to do? It didn’t sound that way.
I’m sure Disney is so glad to have such loyal customers like you defending them, great work! Yes, I’m sure the theme park and Star Wars enthusiast that goes out of her way to do obscure themed experiences was secretly hoping that her experience at the Star Wars LARP hotel would be bad so she could write a scathing hit…
The video is well worth it and held my fascination throughout. The 4+-hour length really makes you feel like you’ve slogged through this overpriced, half-baked “immersive experience” as well.
