I was appalled when I saw that clip and further appalled when the [initial] news coverage I saw reported it as “President Trump refuses to condemn white supremacists” as opposed to, say, “President Trumps tells white supremacists to get ready for action”. That’s not even a dog whistle, it’s a fucking bullhorn, and it

IMHO Biden’s biggest missed opportunity was to not have an answer to Trump’s comments toward the end about he filled so many seats on the federal court, because 1) Trump doesn’t understand how the system works and why Trump had so many seats to fill, 2) that Republicans jobbed the system, 3) and that this was another

Here's the thing: You got Trump’s vision of the future. You should be horrified.

Good to know they are still following guideline I suppose.

“I’ve done more in 47 months – I’ve done more than you’ve done in 47 years”

The not condemning white supremacists was preceded by the loudest dog whistle of the night when (I”m paraphrasing): “they’re teaching them in schools to hate America, that they’re nothing or less than, like reverse prejudice” or some sick racist shit. This guy is severely mentally ill. And anyone still defending him

Everybody understands what we just saw here, right?

You couldn’t hear Biden with Trump talking over him the whole time. He did try to lay out his plans.

Biden actually did say this and linked him directly to less funding for police beyond tax evasion. He said Trump is cutting 400m from police aid and police assistance services. You just didn’t hear it over Trump’s unhinged ranting.

It’s his job to make sure the participants adhere to the rules

Summation of the night: Friend texted me from his apartment complex and said an elderly neighbor had a heart attack screaming at the goddamn television trying to will Trump to shut the fuck up. The paramedics loaded him up and carted him off with his wife.

I think the most chilling part - well, maybe not chilling, but most telling part - Is when, after fumbling for a way to answer, both Wallace and Biden were on both side of him telling him to “Ok, just say It.” And he just stood there, silent for a few seconds, trying to think of what to say that won’t also piss off

The POTUS openly pandered to a gang, during a debate on live television. Makes me sick how far we done fell.

The most telling part was how Trump fumbled through his non-answer. He knows he can’t outright denounce the racists. That’s his core. You could see the rusty gears in his head seize up trying to blurt out a response. So duh -“I want to see peace.” Yeah, right.

I’m so done with politics. I’m voting, but everything -- from the politicians, to CNN and MSNBC. What a sad place we’re in. I literally muted my TV and put my head down. During a debate where we were supposed hear the candidates’ vision for the future. We got nowhere near that.

yeah I wouldn’t even debate this clown anymore. Fuck Trump and his “proud boys”

You really think Chris Wallace is the problem?? 🤣🤣🤣

Classic Waddles. Rants, insults, idiotic tangents and pandering to straight-up human garbage with vague threats. It’s just embarrassing.
