This isn’t from a “deadspin soccer writer”.  Those would be “Billy the bard”, the guy who could write 10,000 words about a transfer rumor in an obscure Portuguese tabloid, and Luis...the good one.

They just don’t have to respond to every asshole needling them about it. I know I’ve seen other “comments” from individual players....as well as tweets/social media posts. This is just to drive interaction, and have SOMETHING to post between actual events in the sports world 🤷‍♂️
