About half the people who watched it felt the complete opposite.

Just one more thing Ms. Sanchez... I noticed you put Cassavetes as the article header instead of Columbo himself. Any idea why you did that?

it’s been a while since i watched it, but in the 1st season I don’t think Will really had any sexual identity issues to speak of, because he was too busy seeing Upside-Down shit everywhere

So, to be clear, the AV Club is anti-“nepo baby,” but throwing your weight around to try to get your unqualified wife hired as a producer is an act of “spousal solidarity.”

I imagine if she were even remotely qualified and performed the bare minimum during season 1, they would have had no issue allowing it. Sounds like that wasn’t the case.

anyone who pledges to support her monetarily is also a transphobe’ and comments like that, where people say ‘you’re x if you y’, immediately draw my ire. Give me a reason that’s substantiated, not a threat of your perception of me shifting.

And yet that CGI Jeff Garlin still comes off as more realistic than McLendon-Covey’s portrayal of a Jewish mother.

The wet dream of the Witcher writer’s room.

Yeah, seems like Cavill was dead set on making a show that adapts the Witcher novels to the screen, while the writers were just trying to piggyback off the popularity of the games in order to adapt their rejected “Dark Fantasy” screenplays.

I can forgive a good bit about Man of Steel, but that really was the worst take on Jonathan Kent ever.

Paving the way for the Section 8 team-up movie? Because Luiz Guzman was born to play Bueno Excellente.

I knew that movie was going to be trouble when it failed to start with a crane shot of the Man in Black running across the desert and booming down to reveal Roland stepping into frame to follow him.

I like it.

The True part : the script that Jenkins & John for Wonder Woman 3 was rejected.

This is my fault, guys. I wished for Wonder Woman 3 on the magic wishing stone and the wish is going wrong in annoying ways.

DO: Strip away the more esoteric links to King’s work (i.e., no Patrick), strip away King as a character, focus on the Ka-Tet and the mechanics of the world having moved on.

I had a whole conversation with my stylist about this. She very pointedly spoke of the “trainer’s” blonde hair and blue eyes, and then showed Harper Bl/bl children. Was she saying Get a “trainer”? Get a trainer and have his B/B babies because neither you or your husband are B/B? Or was she saying children and buckets

I’m sure it was frustrating to her, but it’s not surprising a roomful of adults wouldn’t be looking for creative input from a 14 year-old.

Same here. Didn't exactly require a Punnett square to do that calculation: dark-haired Cameron should have thrown at least one dark-haired progeny. Add a fair-haired trainer to the mix, and the odds of two Children of the Corn suddenly gets a lot higher.

The moment she shows Harper a photo of her kids on her phone (while claiming to be looking to show off “her trainer”) felt particularly calculated in its ditziness, almost as if she knew what she was doing, telling Harper in no uncertain terms why she stayed with Cameron
