I love Returns. It was the perfect table-setting for a sequel that totally would have given folks what they wanted, but had no patience to wait for.

Snyder’s Watchmen was visually faithful, but the changes to the story ruined the narrative through-line for the two main characters with no good reason.

The Ghost Rider

I almost never watch the live airing of the show just because of the commercials. I speed through those momentum-killers!

I just start at 9:25 and breeze right on through.  No commercials at all other than the seconds it takes to FF.

And yet the discourse continues, inevitable as the tides, trapping us in the unceasing whirlpool in perpetuity,” said the whirlpool.

Sure, but the smart thing here is to reserve judgement. Right now we only have the reports of the lawsuit, not the actual suit itself which would need to detail the similarities.

A gendered language can still recognize the reality of non gendered people. The bigger issue with “Latinx” specifically is that it’s just a totally non-Spanish word form, which is why native Spanish speakers often prefer the non-gendered “Latine.” Or in English, “Latin” works just fine.

Nothing says “I totally respect the Spanish language and its speakers” like refusing to believe it’s a gendered language and forcing it to be like English, you errant thickshit.

If you’re referring to the various Latinos and Latinas who have posted saying they dislike the word, you’re really not on solid ground.

Weirdos? You mean hispanics like me who hate that word? White liberal people just do whatever the hell they want.

Latino here, Colombian in fact. Stop it with the Latinx BS. Neither my family nor my friends like that word, and, in fact, find it discriminatory to be called as such. Call us hispanics, southamericans, latinos, latins, latinas, whatever the hell you want, but that X-men word is insulting.

What about the baffling weirdos who use it? Actual Latinos and Latinas hate it, yet still they persist. Why??

That final smile. Jesus Christ.

I’m just going to come out and say it:

I really don’t understand this marketing campaign for The Flash.

I have always found the criticism of Chris Pratt to be lazy AF. People making broad assumptions about who the guy is, based on where he may/may not attend church, as proof that he is homophobic or endorses homophobic views.

No-one has ever been able to point to clear and proven homophobic actions or sentiments that

Yeah, I genuinely think people just got mad that he went from being an approachable chubby doofus to being what the mainstream considers hot, and they resent him for that in the bizarre, way too personal parasocial way that the Way Too Online specialize in

I think my main problem with this adaptation is all the stuff about midichlorians.

i’ve never really understood this critique of him? Are there many churches who’s stances on LGBTQ+ people are not super behind the times? Is he the only actor in hollywood who goes to church? Because going to church and cosigning all the backwards beliefs of christianity are two very different things, and pretending

I heard a joke once.  I hated it.

Clearly Pine is the Worst Chris, being the blandest and the weakest actor.

We oughta file this under “documentaries” then, shouldn’t we?
