While I do fully condone calling out Boebert for being a hypocrite, but before this can really be taken seriously, the PAC in question should actually present some proof. At the moment it is fully leaning on just claiming that they are have seen the evidence, but it is questionable to publish such allegations without

Well, the entire show centers on a massive break in canon, which is Vader and Obi Wan meeting between ROTS and ANH.

Yeah, after you have Anakin building C-3PO (and 3P0 living on the moisture farm before!) and being best friends with R2 continuity stopped mattering a long time ago.

How condescending of you, asshole.

I like weekly releases because it gives my tired, dirty old heart something to look forward to every week. I Don’t really binge anything, but when something is really good I like to live with it for a while and I think high quality content that creatives pour their heart and souls into should be given as much life as

Can’t someone just comment on the Reva character with it having absolutely zero to do with what trash people happen to have been saying? Who gives a shit? I also like the character and have sung her praises without pausing for a nanosecond’s thought about what some asshole might think about it.

No one’s talking about corporate whatever metrics but you. People just like having discussions about media they enjoy, and it’s hard to do that when everyone else has moved on from a show you want to discuss.

All the Gen-Zers in the comments talking like content locusts swarming from show to show consuming all and acting like weekly releases is a pox amongst humanity that must be cured.

I haven’t seen the ep yet, but is this trolling of the haters? So far I think she’s been fine. (Ewan is the MVP of any Star Wars he’s in).

I prefer the once a week because I’m an Old. It gives me something to look forward to and since I have patience and don’t have to have everything FUCKING NOW, I’m good with it. And, even though it’s not that important to me one way or the other, that’s why Disney is going to pass Netflix and apparently, Netflix

Yep. It’s fun for lots and lots of people to discuss shows with people while waiting for the next. It’s cool that you prefer to binge. But people enjoying the wait seems to really upset you, though, so that’s funny at least

I enjoyed how HBO Max released Our Flag Means Death with a weekly release of multiple episodes, which syncs up better with how I watch TV anyway (taking in a couple episodes of the same show in an evening, but then watching a different show the next day to mix it up).

> Are people spending an entire week talking about one episode of tv?

Sure, I don’t /have/ to binge watch it weekly, but that also means I miss out on the cultural conversation around it, which is well over within 2 weeks of the drop. And I can’t even discuss it with anyone until I’m done, else spoilers.

Then wait until they’re all released.

This isn’t a real suggestion, but it’s the inverse of people telling me, a binge-hater, that I don’t have to binge it.

Knowing Paramount, they probably found a loophole that allows archived footage of MTV to be streamed or something.

Yeah, I agree. I think there could have been a really good story to tell here. They’re just not telling it.

I’m a firm believer in the idea that if you can come up with a good enough story, that outweighs any idea that the story “didn’t need to be expanded on.” They’re just not doing a good enough job here: far too much clumsy writing and direction, and bringing in elements like Leia and Vader that are really obviously just

This series has the same root problem that Solo and The Book of Boba Fett had. It’s Disney expanding on a story that doesn’t need to be expanded, just because they had a character they liked. They were so happy that they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should.

Historians have debunked the idea that Joan of Arc was “non-binary” as “the Book of Queer” claims. She always called “the Maiden” (“la pucelle”) which is definitely feminine beyond any doubt; and her “male clothing” was just the soldier’s riding outfit that they gave her to wear, and which (according to several
