That is an excellent point! This show has never done very well with the details.

The Simpsons predicted this over 20 years ago... sigh. Now I want one.
I’ll always say that Songs reputation is a bit worse then it is. Its awkward to watch now but at the time some saw it as progressive. It did lead to the first African American actor to win an Oscar. Its not much worse then the Dumbo crows or the Indians in Peter Pan. If the movie was available to watch it wouldn’t be…
YES PLEASE SO MUCH
Totally agree with you guys.
Holy crap..what if this ended up causing a Super Buddies movie?
Is it that I’m old and they’re young, or are all of the people in this video just insufferable?
Yeah, I sorta miss the sleazy good guy. There’s some built-in dynamics that’s fun to play with (i.e., a good guy with a very questionable power).
Wonder if he’ll be a straight up bad guy here or a bad guy who’s JUST on the bad side of the good/evil line?
I really hate what DC did to Maxwell Lord.
You’re the only person who has ever said “frickle”.
I’ll take option C and say that I prefer fried pickle stackers over either chips or spears. The stacker cut is a 1/4 inch thick lengthwise pickle slice, which creates a flat and wide long strip of pickle. I get the deeper pickle flavor of the spear cut near the middle of the stacker slice and all of the surface area…
Oh, good call on the ridge cut!
Also, let’s talk about breading: Flour, panko, or cornmeal? I prefer flour for my onions rings, but for chips they seem a little dense (maybe because there’s no hole in them like in onion rings). Panko works best for pickles, I think.
This is a hill I am willing to die on. Pickle chips all the way, but they should be a thick cut, or you get too much breading to pickle. I don’t care how long you wait to bite into a spear. You are going to burn the roof of your mouth. And never whole pickles. That is just asking for trouble.
in ublock or ublock origin, the following line in “my filters” will disable the video player, jwplayer, altogether:
Hmm this doesn’t really work for me - it cuts off the annoying side videos but doesn’t stop the videos in the middle of the page from playing with sound, which was honestly the more annoying part.
I recently discovered that there indeed was a stage “adaptation” of Emmet a few years ago. Look it up on Youtube. Or possibly don’t as it was terrible.
When a joke isn’t funny, it is important to keep telling it. It is this persistence that will someday get me out of the grays.
Aristocats are next I imagine....
A couple years back I picked up a used paperback copy of his essays/commentaries that was published during his SNL days for $0.01 on Amazon. It made me sad that I paid so little, because the book really, really made me laugh. As you'd imagine his stuff works perfectly on the page.
