It takes a really special writer to use these quirky characters, and the track record is really poor.

i saw STP during that same timeframe and it was the worst concert I’ve ever been too. Weiland was off his head on drugs, had zero stage presence and could barely get thru their set, the tempo of which had been slowed down considerably so that Scott could keep up. It was terrible.
