I wasn’t talking so much about the movie as i was the IP. Like the Cartoon on HBO was pretty good at the time. It was part of that wave of ‘adult’ cartoons like it’s Image cousin The Maxx, or there was one about a guy with a giant head, i think.

Idea for Long Walk: the projector is powered by a bunch of treadmills that the audience has to walk on thereby giving them full immersion into the world of the film.

Marvel may have no desire, but the big bosses at Disney surely have the desire not to see that money go to another company. I can only guess that it costs less to farm out than to employ the people to do it in at Marvel.

I wonder why IDW is putting out these books instead of Marvel. Disney took Star Wars away from Dark Horse when that deal lapsed so that Marvel could keep that IP in house. Why farm out the Kids book to IDW?

If you liked The Terror, i’d recommend Drood by Simmons as well, It’s about the friendship/rivalry between Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins and also opium. Really good, but like The Terror, it’s a tome.

That Take On Me cover sounds like it would be a lot of fun in a dingy small club, but just hearing it out of that context, doesn’t really work all that well on it’s own.

Admittedly, i’ve been out of the dating pool for almost 2 decades, so things evolve, but I don’t think of it as owing him so much as it is treating others as you would like to be treated. But maybe it was the first date from hell, then ghost away, i guess.
