Uni holds the distribution rights for both. At *least* Hulk. That's why in all the DVD sets of MCU Phase 1, the Hulk DVDs are different from the rest. Uni wouldn't let Marvel print their own, so the just put the existing DVD copies in the sets. That's also one reason why we probably wont see a Hulk solo film any time…

It was a nice nod to the Hanna Barbera roots of the show's style, but yea, that plot was weak. He also contributed to Careers in Science though, so i think that makes up for it.
