Me too, but the learner’s permit allowed that. Having the adjudicator jump on with me for the test was a little awkward though. That clipboard banging into the back of my helmet was really distracting.

Rode my motorcycle by myself to the DMV to take my riding test.

In the US, no one working at the DMV would; 1: Notice, and 2. Care.

So you’re going to get ahead of heavy tires travelling at speeds on a curve with unpredictable movement, blasting your horn?

Damn it ford, just put the Model T back into production!

I am curious as to what it would take to put a Model T back into production and make it legal, to be honest. It’d be a good college design project.

so, you mean the Maverick then

It’s a really weird thing to say on an car enthusiasts website. How can you not understand that it’s not just about power and numbers as it is about the driving experience? Especially on a website that shows as much if not more love for the quirky cars than American muscle.

Spoken like someone who has no idea why people like muscle cars, or sports cars.

Nike’s Jordan “Jumpman” logo is one of the coolest corporate logos out there, but it looks so goofy on anything other than basketball apparel.  I watched a football game recently where it was on the players’ uniforms and the coaches’ shirts, and the dissonance involved seeing a football player with a basketball

I figure $5 million of the budget was filling up all those fuel tanks on the side.

It’s nice to have out for navigation when I’m on a road trip.

One other reason is possibly price.

I think the biggest problem is there was no value in getting the Nissan vs. Ford/Chev/Ram/Toyota. The Titan was the same price as the others but with fairly middling specs. If they had offered a competitive truck for a bit less money they could have built a following. They just would have had to deal with lower

That’s what Apple said.

The Big 3 already have their fanbases, and those that want a full-size truck that ISN’T American are way more loyal and invested in Toyota than Nissan.

Plus, the new Titan always had awkward styling and it never really shook the perception of being a problem vehicle that the original Titan had.

Too much “that thang ain’t made in MURICA!” While they drive away in their Silverado or Ram that is very likely made in Mexico. The Ford guys at least drive american made trucks. And the “Murica” types will flat out not believe you when you tell them the Titan is made in the US.

Remember the Titans :p
