This is the automotive journalism I come to Jalopnik for. What fun.
Wait, that’s an S10 tailgate
This thing is simultaneously neat as hell and no dice as fuck.
That interior is amazing. Stellantis should definitely offer up that wood grain interior kit as a Mopar accessory! I’d love having something like that.
Say what you will but after making the same car for fifteen or whatever years, they keep finding new-old ways to have fun. All it’s missing is the black vinyl roof to really finish the 70's vibe.
All the style of the 70s without the requisite bush that would’ve come along with it
“Aye bruh, this Hyundai Tucson slaps.” I could image something like this being done. Wrong and terrible. Like you I’m not even offended. Im just shaking my head.
As a fellow Black man, I’m not offended, per se, just bewildered.
Looks like a death trap. I want one.
I love to shit on GM almost as much as Jalopnik, but everything about the C8 seems like they hit it outta the park. And now this level of performance for that price is insane.
But as a Black man, I can say that the Black community doesn’t need marketing that uses our slang.
Not sure if this was because I had my head in the sand, but it sure seemed likely a remarkably short amount of time between when I learned Lucid existed and when they started delivering cars.
It’s up to them, of course. Nonetheless, I think if they got shitcanned by an asshole boss two years ago, they’ve got different (and hopefully much better) jobs by now. And in today’s tight trucking market, I’m sure an experienced trucker with a clean record can have his pick of the best companies to drive for today.
I'd be worried about my safety if I had to return to a job site where management had already fired me and damn sure didn't want me back. Especially a job where accidents happen all the time and it's hard to assign blame or put down as a crime what could be incompetence. These guys need a payout and a job somewhere…
Next time you don’t have to post a picture of every single one of them. I’ll take your word for it.
Of course. This will be the first year on record they won’t demand you combine GMC & Chevy sales to try and look better in total sales.
This.
When I sold GMC’s (2019) we actually had a lot of customers coming from Chevy just because the refreshed Silverados were so ugly. I genuinely sold over a dozen trucks to people who said they wouldn’t be seen in the Silverado.
