SVU is never entirely accurate in their “ripped from the headlines” stories. That could get them sued. If you’re looking for current events to be accurately portrayed, don’t try to find it in a fictional tv series. Christ on a bicycle, who writes these articles?

1) The Law and Order franchise (not just SVU) has famously taken inspiration from real life cases for years. They are basically where “ripped from the headlines” came from.

Walker currently trails incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) by about 4 points.

Herschel Walker - proof that people vote SOLELY for the R or D next to their name. There’s simply no other reason that Warnock is only 4 points ahead.

Hold up... Beyonce absolutely deserves to get called out. That Daily Beast article cited above even notes how she’s got a bad habit of using “I” and not “we” when discussing her music. From that article:

Also, the article linked to substantiate the claim about rumors of infidelity has absolutely no mention of Shakira or Gerard (not Gerald) Piqué or infidelity, as far as I can tell. They’ve pretty much just given up here, haven’t they?

Anything can happen between now and November, but the last poll had Warnock up by +10 points. And yes, I know polls are all but meaningless by now, but Warnock is also out-raising Walker and has higher favorability numbers to the point that national Republicans have started to publicly fret about his chances.

She hasn’t stopped singing the song because it in some way contributes to violence. She’s stopped singing the song as an act of protest against gun violence.

Two grown ups on their second marriages, and second go-rounds making their “honeymoon” an opportunity to have a family vacation with their newly blended families is not even a little bit weird.
