Thank you! The adoption wasn’t open (I think a last minute change) but all my searches were coming up with “your birth mom couldn’t care for you” or “why we look different” stories. I’m def heading to that Goodreads list cos it would be great to just show the normalcy of being adopted without it being a raison d’etre.
