Kellan Lutz is in the newer FBI series on CBS (Most Wanted?). The writing is awful (tho better than the first FBI series on CBS which is both written and acted horribly), but he’s fine in the role. I have no idea what else he’s been in but he’s perfectly serviceable as an ensemble detective person.

I hope your friend is doing better! I think I’ve been totally asymptomatic tho I still have migraines (dealing with one today cos my monthly shot is wearing off). Sometimes I lose words but I think that’s just me and not the stroke. 😄 Thanks! Two years on and I'm still paying the doctor bills but all my tests are

I’m with you here. Also, not all strokes look the same. I had one at 38 and didn’t even know it (cerebellar, it was found on a routine MRI for my migraines). I think I know when it happened, but didn’t know it was happening.

Thank you for articulating this. I have these conversations with my friends about what was “fine” when we were younger and how people react now to situations. I hesitate to watch shows and movies I loved in HS/college cos I’m afraid to see how many “jokes” aren’t funny now. How I went out in college is not possible

I’m glad to hear you have support but I’m so sorry to hear that you and your daughter have the mutation. I don’t pray but I’ll think good thoughts to the North and I hope the best for you both. Maybe I’ll make some poutine while I send thoughts so I can make sure they make it all the way north. (Ok, that last bit is

Love it!

I have nothing but to say I hope you have come through this and I hope you have found or will find a community. I wish you health in both mind and body.

I remember the bs that was happening when DC implemented (or started enforcing?) the no-eating rule. By using “verboten” over “illegal”, I was trying to imply that eating was not something to be done on the MTA based on social norms. Either way, I wish there were no-eating rules but I can’t even start to a) imagine

It was a somewhat rhetorical question. I’ll sometimes eat a simple hand food item on the NYC subway, but I feel like an open bowl of cereal with milk is not something for a moving car of any type. Basically this ass was a douche from top to bottom.

It’s my go-to now whenever discussing douchebags. Please, enjoy it!

I got it from someone here! I think they said Cactus and I added Salted. Or they did the whole thing. I just wish now I knew who had given me the gift of this phrase!

And from what I’ve heard, some of these people are trapped in tiny, internal cabins, so they don’t even have windows or balconies to get fresh air. That is a nightmare.

Have you seen The Mist? You *could* theoretically be trapped in the grocery with sick people...

Correct me if I’m wrong, but also isn’t eating on the subway mostly verboten? And the privilege of straight up wasting a box of cereal and a gallon of milk is infuriating.

After I got my undergrad degree in English everyone asked me if I was going to become a teacher. I just looked at them and said that was my worst nightmare as I didn’t like kids. Also it’s a hella lot of work and you have to get up early. (My mom was a teacher and was awesome at it but I would literally lose it if I

And it’s sugar-y milk so it has to be cleaned up property to avoid stickiness or dank smell from spoilt milk. Fuuuuuck this asshole with a salted cactus.

It was brain cancer, so painful in a way? But also poetic justice, it seems.

I feel like a combination of the Dunning-Kruger Effect and the Peter Principle is to Trump-Kushner. “My asshole boss is totally a T-K” or “How did the manager T-K their way to the top?”

Just googled him for a refresher and found this lovely quote from Ed Rollins in the Wiki page (from a documentary about Atwater):

Ok, so OT but you seem to be knowledgeable in musical theatre. (It was my minor in college, but I basically stuck to costuming and got all my credits with that and backstage work.) I LOVE Guys & Dolls, pretty much any version, but they added and removed songs for the film adaptation (Brando/Sinatra). Why would they do
