I've seen older low mileage garaged cars that have surface rust on the underdash pieces. Many manufacturers left the dash bracing with zero treatment on the steel and we all know how quickly bare metal flash-rusts. Any humidity in the air will do the trick, especially over years of exposure. Like MrMcQueen said, its

Looks like they played it way too safe. It looks bland and will blend right in with the other SUVs in the parking lot. Maybe I was looking at their concepts for way too long and set the bar a bit too high.

A few months ago, I went to Advance and witnessed a clueless customer asking for a breaker bar. After 5 minutes of the employee looking around, he brought the guy a 1/4 inch ratchet. I went ahead and helped the customer myself, because somehow the idiot couldn't tell what a breaker bar was and that it was on the shelf

I think the owner of Icon once said that they find cars with real patina and leave them that way. They rework everything but leave the body with the original wear. So this is probably real patina, not a wannabe paint job.

I lol'd. Thank you.

Let me know ahead of time, I need to pack up my things and go north before Bugs gets it done. I'll make sure no crazies follow me. Promise.

I live in Miami and saw the coverage yesterday. Robin said that there are cameras, but the fires were set in blind spots. The arsonist either researched his target very well or it was an inside job.

Hey Jason, if you decide to take a vacation from NC, head down south to Miami and some of my car buddies and I will show you the local automotive scene. Nowhere near as awesome as LA, but there's some good stuff throughout the city.

Good catch. I traveled frequently till about 2006, and I can't remember any with the modern version of the logo. Must've been a huge batch of unwanted decals that made it to the island.

It is, actually. Although, ironically, most of them didn't have Pioneer units, the decals were definitely from Pioneer Electronics.

Funny how at 1:29 one of the cars flies off the rotating assembly line.

"His jeep has now been carefully taken apart, piece-by-piece, and sympathetically restored and is an icon of World War II."

I traveled to Cuba once or twice every year for many years, and I cannot tell you how many of these damn stickers I saw. In fact, this is a double whammy, because the two most popular decals there are Calvin and Pioneer.

I can't be the only one that gets really annoyed with the tiny windows. The Concept 2020 has the same issue. I know they're just concepts but they look so out of proportion it's stupid.

Ford takes it, hands down. Not only have they been racing more than twice as long as Ferrari, they've also participated in every motorsport imaginable. Plus I think we all know who won between Ford and Ferrari when they went head to head :)

I bought a pair when they first came out. They fit absolutely perfect, at least on my hands. The leather is soft and they fit so well I don't want to take them off. The wrist section doesn't have straps, but they're so snug that they don't really need them.

I bought a pair of his stringback gloves, and I absolutely love them. Very nice product.

That's an old Mazda Cosmo.

Looks sweet, but I've never liked the music in their games. Judging by this video, they'll probably have more 90s rock and weird eclectic stuff.

I can relate as well. At least neither you nor Raphael lost your cars. You can feel very fortunate, as some of us weren't as lucky. I lost my baby not too long ago in a freak accident on the expressway. All 4 wheels hydrolocked and I literally watched as the car I devoted more than a decade to just plow right into the
