“My client filed a lawsuit against the NFL, so we expect the NFL’s response will be to hire him.” It always amazes me what kind of twisted logic lawyers can come up with.

Die Hard? Really? Did the writer forget that McClain managed to get on the radio with LAPD and they were thwarted by...Gruber’s planning.
My high school did that. They also had a Medivac chopper show up and pick up one of the “victims”.
Well fuck.
That’s probably fuel taxes and/or regulatory costs imposed by the city. High income communities often have an easier time running local governments on property taxes, so they don’t feel the need to impose local fuel taxes.
Colin Kaepernick initiated the League’s version of legal action, when he filed his collusion complaint. Most any lawyer will tell you that you do not associate with somebody who filed legal action against you outside of the court system during the process.
God bless the Magic jokes. They are needed on days like today.
I’ll see what I can find tomorrow. It’s been a long weekend of system upgrades.
After Miller rolls onto his back, he keeps rolling over and the ball fall out of his grip. You literally have to watch him until you’re ready to puke in pain if you look down at his leg.
Are people this dumb? Yes. People who read this website? I hope not, as this site ran an article that probably shocked a lot of people: Roger Goodell is backing the players in the players/owners dispute over anthem protests.
As boring as it may look, if the conditions drive Trubisky to simply hand the ball off for the entire game that’s fine. As long as the Bears get the W in the end.
Neutral: I’m handing my Passat back to VW in a few weeks time. I’ll get my check. Once that happens, VW has fulfilled their obligation to me and I’ll be done with this car. Will I never buy a VW again? Can’t say, that’s in the future. But I’m not going to blacklist them.
Swim swim eat.
Virginia McCaskey is still the principle owner of the Bears, and while she assumed her current position in 1983, the fact that she’s 94 and the daughter of George Halas puts her in the “old guard” group in my eyes. Same with Martha Ford, who’s only two years junior to Virginia.
I think Cool Runnings would have been a more appropriate choice. Also, I like the original ending to Major League. The one where Rachel is using her bitch attitude as cover for the fact that the team was broke.
What’s your justification for having Stephen checked out? Something his father did? Something his brother did? Simply being family is not enough.
This is a team made up of guys with chips on their shoulders (“Your old team didn’t want you. We’re going to show them why that was a mistake.”) who are coached by a man who was fired after a 103 point season *and* the team won their division. This run isn’t sustainable, but looking at what they put up on the ice last…

Yeah, you guys in Columbus can have the Breadman and his cute dog tricks. I’m still happy with the trade.
Fun fact: my folks’ neighbor used to bake the cookies that Nieman Marcus sold through their Christmas Catalog. She went into semi-retirement, so now she only bakes for the neighbors she likes, and wedding cakes for the neighborhood kids who treated he well.
Ever go to a shooting range that charges by the hour? I’d rather not pay for time reloading my magazines when I can do that at home.
