One of the greatest scenes from The Dark Knight Rises was watching Heinz Field get destroyed.

It’s one of the things I love about the CSN Chicago broadcasts of Blackhawks games: I’m going to see the anthem. Unless we’re playing a Canadian team, in which case I’m going to see both anthems. And if the game’s in Chicago, then I’m almost assured that it’s going to be Jim Cornelison’s awesome performance.
Listen. If I had a 1998 Acura Legend I’d be babying that thing too!
Ahh yes, the 2000 Week 17 Bears at Detroit game. My then-girlfriend took a break from a weekend of sexy time to watch the game. We then celebrated the Bears win (we’re both Bears fans) with more sexy time. God bless the Lions ineptitude.
...why didn’t WotC spring for an exhibitor’s badge for their rules guy?
Every President gets that invitation. It’s up to them to accept it. President Obama, if I recall, was not keen on going. But he still got the invitations.
Old gf liked the front seat of my Honda, in front of her place. When I’d go home, I’d often swing through the local Taco Bell.
“Can you just write it as a reporter?”
Given the lack of motion blur, I’d suspect they’re in stop-and-go traffic. But I get where you’re coming from.
Jangling keys isn’t as big of a threat in this world of push-button ignition.
It’s about what you put in. I recall the Northwestern QB who tried to get the NLRB to declare the student-athletes as school employees a few years back. The nugget that I remember the most was his center. The kid had just passed his entrance exams to medical school. The center busted his ass to be the starting center.…
FF13? Freudian slip there?
It could be helped, you just needed to try a little harder. :)
In its most basic form, battery is unlawful touching. You don’t actually have to inflict pain/damage for the charge to apply.
Do you recall if the HOA Board or the lawyer was changed just before the letters went out? It could be a case where somebody simply didn’t care, but their replacement did.
If you put your shipyards facing the sea, not only do you have to deal with the sea weather you are vulnerable to attacks from the sea. Move your shipyards up river, and you have a big chunk of land to act as a buffer for the weather and the attacks.
The railroad spike is impressive, it does remind me of the brake pad that I managed to put through my tire and wheel. Dark road, bunch of crappy repair shops owing to the emissions testing facility at the end of the road. Drove over rusty pad, it punched its way through the tire and well into the wheel.
2nd Gear - it wasn’t the pay structure at the dealership that pushed me to go back to IT. It was all the mechanics who acted like overgrown children.
Take a look for articles about locker room sewage problems. At the very least it’s been happening in the visiting team locker room for football games.
The confirmation vote was 92-5. That’s a lot of Democrats who voted for the guy, tells me they don’t think he’s too far into Trump’s camp to be a serious problem.
