This story has been up since yesterday and only has one comment?  The roots readers clearly don’t care for positive stories about black men.  Kudos to Frank Scott. He is an example of what a black politician has to face just to achieve their greatness. I hope he wins, and I hope he keeps coming back for more.

Well, you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. I give more money to pan handlers and homeless people simply because they asked. If my neighbor doesn’t feel comfortable asking for help, why should I go out of my way to figure their situation out?
