This is an interesting point, Millennials disproportionate school loans have crippled my life, I can’t image ever putting my self into a debt like that again with a gigantic autoloan. I wonder what percentage also feels this crush.
I understand The math should be the same, a Log is a Log. and +3 should be double the energy. But since Loudness is based on perception there are some quirks. I mistakenly wrote +5 dB as 1.5X, really though +5 dB is considered The point of noticeable difference in volume. +10dB is still accepted as double Loudness.
Sounds are measured with dBspl (decibels sound pressure level).
Allow me to pompously chime in as an Audio Engineer. 5 dBspl, IS significant, maybe...
You sound smart.
Give it a rest, I don’t care.
Hopeful for a Halo
Interesting point. I think you’re onto something.
“Terrifying presence”
Why the hell would I load a running bike into a truck?
You are correct.
CEO of Cadillac is ousted. I’d really like to see Cadillac do well and produce something that appeals to me, but I haven’t really seen it yet. Crossovers just don’t feel very Cadillac to me. They are all about the big and beautiful, leave the small stuff to the peasants is what old caddy would do.
Wow TIL
She have a sister?
+1 Patrick George.
I can’t imagine how much I’ve spent in RTV, Spray paint and fluids to keep my 30 Roadster going. But I do know I’ve spent more in oil than gasoline. In 4 years its never gone a full tank of gas with out something spewing somewhere.
Oops you are correct. 5/25= approx. 20% agreed.
Yea I’m looking forward to this getting me at both ends. If this happens.
Yea I’m not seeing how me paying extra for 95 octane is going to benefit me. .50/2.65=5.3 Percent Cost increase. My super clean 96 Tahoe is not going to see any of this benefit from higher octane.
