A lens can also magnify the sun to reach like 1000C. I’m sure it’s not quite that concentrated here, but even the best plastics have a limit under 500C. Depending on how concentrated the heat is, it’s not unthinkable that there really just isn’t ANY plastic that can withstand it.

Bingo. I’ve sat behind someone in my local McDonalds multiple times already where it struggles to understand the accent of the person in front of me, even though it isn’t even that thick and I can understand them just fine from my own window behind them.

The 256MB of internal storage is probably what is holding the emulator and OS code.  Doubt it actually dumps ROMS to internal storage, there's no need when it can just load the whole 4kb into RAM.

Precisely this. The third-party apps aren’t any more of a drain on the server resources than the first-party app is.  They work the exact same way.  He just doesn’t like that some of them have been monetizing their apps in ways that don’t directly benefit Reddit.
