The PC version does indeed contain some old, unused render settings that were deactivated for a variety of reasons, including possible impacts on visual fidelity, stability, performance and overall gameplay quality.

Like idiots they locked some of the physics to FPS. So increasing the FPS will make some things go crazy.

Bungie, the developers on Destiny, have said that the Kinect-free option enabled them to get their game to run at 1080p resolution, 30 frames per second on Xbox One.

Between Uplay, game downgrades, sitting on completed Wii U games because they "don't have a big enough marketshare" (Wii U has over a million more consoles right now than the Xbox One though...), 15+ pre-order versions and bonus requiring a spreadsheet, and the #womenaretoohardtoanimate backlash, Ubisoft is really not…

Wow. That is shocking. It seems absurd to me that they went in with that mindset - the mindset that we will just use these graphics to impress, to get people pumped. Fuck me. Ubisoft deserves all the shit it is getting.

This is just embarrassing. The only logical reason they would do this is to make the other versions look better, which doesn't exactly speak highly of the Next-Gen consoles capabilities. Way to make the PC community hate and distrust you, Ubisoft!

I think The Witcher 3 is stealing a lot of it's thunder. I'll probably play this, but it's not exactly what I'm hyped for.

As someone that feels like they've been burned by Bioware's last few releases, I'm hoping the lack of hype is the result of the gaming community becoming more skeptical.

What they showed at E3 was interesting... but then CD Projekt Red came out and played their live demo of The Witcher 3...
