It really breaks my fucking heart when I read the breitbart comments section and realize how many people are truly disturbed. Also Hi snacks.
I am amazed at Andrew Breitbart’s ability to continue to terrorize us (us meaning decent, sane people) from the grave.
I was pretty appalled as well by the 'well he wasn't convicted' crowd. Read the transcripts, for fucks sake. This asshole raped an unconscious woman and then harassed her after.
yeah but what if they’re blind
There’s absolutely no call for comments like this. I edit my work—we all do—but the night moves quickly and sometimes there are slip-ups. Please use this space to engage kindly and thoughtfully.
Jesus. And here I am without the core strength to sit on the floor.
We know that restraining orders and criminal charges (with bail) don’t do much to stop batterers from murdering their partners in retaliation for police involvement or, as seems to be in this case, for the woman leaving him. So to me it only makes sense that the deadly weapons be taken out of the equation. There’s no…
While I think this is a great idea it seems that this dude went out and bought a gun the very fucking next day. Something more comprehensive needs to happen. Something that comprehensive is a thing too far for the American people it seems. Or at least the loud, angry, and red-faced American people.
So a man with a history of “domestic disputes” severe enough to warrant the police having to attend was legally able to obtain a gun with which to kill his wife. That’s an odd interpretation of a well regulated militia.
I would have told him to get off the damn stage. You wait 6 years to propose and decide that the best time is during an Olympic medal ceremony? Nuh-uh that silver medal is the only bling she needs right then.
Our prison system is so fucked. How often do people gleefully crow when someone like Jared Fogle is convicted that they will be raped in prison? It’s a tacit acknowledgement that prison is a violent place, not a site for rehabilitation. Which then makes judges reluctant to sentence young, white,…
Incredibly beautiful and moving, and she is so lucky to have had the resources (financial, social, political, emotional) to have been able to do that.
feels like when my parents divorced but told us kids that everything would essentially stay the same
OMG, let go of my hand! Like bitch, was your hand not just in my hair? Go on trick.
It's not just them. There are far too many kids-usually black kids- who are living in terrible circumstances and see their only way out as physically becoming a commodity for people to trade in through athletics.
Living in a shelter is really depressing. My girls and I went to one for some days because of dv and it is really sad, there was barely food, we had barely money, we did not had a car so we did not have a way to even take them to school, you feel like you are in jail.
I was just on their GoFundMe page and they’re only $900 over their goal. C’mon Jezzies, we can help out. Maybe we can help them go home to an actual home.
I like Major Lazer:
