Aw, upset that Intel is industry focused and not pandering to a bunch of activist clowns that have zero interest in gaming and just looking for attention? If this is your idea of taking a stand for the issue, your priorities are kind of messed up. Campaign against domestic abuse or raise awareness of any other

Step 1: Buy Costume

Step 7 - Revised:

If you look inside the game chassis you'll probably see an XBOX or a Playstation driving the game.

I am not wearing an Oculus Rift that dozens or even hundreds of other people have worn.

But I agree with your sentiment.

Those were popular already at amusement parks during the 90s. They were expensive to maintain and for the consumer to use unfortunately. I don't see them making a huge resurgence as the technology hasn't really changed all that much.

The wear and tear on those, though. And I'd be a bit more hesitant to pay to use something that makes contact with a lot of peoples' heads and faces on a frequent basis if not properly maintained (and it probably won't be after a while).

Arcade balls! And the design of the arcades could be real interesting if you have all these spheres all over the place.

A thousand times this. Four Rifts + Omni Treadmills + Gun peripherals and let me and my buddies shoot each other up in VR? Take all of my money.

I think Oculus Rift and its peripherals could actually give arcades a new lease of life. The accessories like the circular treadmill that lets you walk in games and some of the cool projection stuff aren't really possible at home unless you're rich and/or have a lot of space.

Hey, come on, Origin's not so bad that it's not worth wading through to get a free, huge and highly praised and replayable game.

What's wrong with Origin? It's fine these days, works well, looks good, has free games regularly.

As much as I usually enjoy it to (rightfully) hate on EA, I got to admit that this is a very nice move from them.

I always enjoy reading people's asinine reasons as to why they can't use Origin, even when a free game is involved. Like I remember when there was an article here on Kotaku about EA giving away Battlefield 1942(what some would argue is the best in the series) and you get this horde of people going on about WELL IF IT

BUT ORIGIN IS EVIL BECAUSE THEY DID THAT THING RABBLE EA RABBLE

Seriously. And no one feels bad for those industries' professional populations. It's not like the video game industry is this exotic specimen of employees largely fueled by passion foremost. Welcome to a major industry, where you will find shit hours, tenuous employment, dream-chasers and paycheck-grubbers alike, and

I honestly wonder what kind of fantasy land everyone else is living in where this *doesn't* happen. In investment/corporate banking the kids come straight out college and do 100 hour weeks for a decade (if they make it- the bottom 1/5 to 1/3 get fired every year depending on how the company is doing), way more than

Christ buddy. Install Adblock Plus. Never look back. Takes like 30 seconds.

NICE!!!!!!!!!! If I had time to play that game I would def do that. I always liked SWTOR, just never had the time to justify subbing.

SWTOR is KOTOR 3, get over it. Go play the Jedi Knight story line, boom, KOTOR 3. Then you have 7 other class stories to dabble in for good measure.
