There was a guy in my EQ1 guild who personally invested in Vanguard (he had money to spare). It's a shame how it turned out. ;p

Brad has his chance with vanguard . We saw how his mismanagement turned that game into a train wreck. Maybe I am wrong but he wont see any more of my money until after a successful release.

Old school gameplay in a MMO is not a good thing.

I think Microsoft basically got all their money back since Sigil reaquired all their rights from Microsoft. I hardly think they gave them 40 million and then just walked away. Most likely they had to pay them back, probably partly with money coming from Sony who became their publisher closer to release.Anyhow, I don't

Tumblr: subverting the patriarchy by taking down feminism harder, faster and more thoroughly than any white cismale ever could.

Release Zelda, Mariokart and SSB, then kill it.

They would have gotten wrecked the same way Microsoft did, lol. Smart of them to prioritize for their core consumers and then broaden outwards from there like they're doing now. Seems to be paying off in sales already.

Perhaps it is merely wishful thinking, but articles regarding EA make me think that the company is about to face some harsh realities. While they have been, seemingly, struggling to repair their public image and declining stocks, the cracks are beginning to show within the corporation.

What do you mean "when"?

Skyfall started with an attack on the MI-6, and typical far-reaching stakes. Then it contracted its focus, and became all about Bond and M saving their own lives in the middle of the countryside. It was different than most movies of this sort, and I liked it.

Sorry Lindy, love ya to bits, but you sound super-duper immature and passive aggressive and like YOU were the one late for the plane, hungover, and getting to your seat after everyone else had sat down. I don't care if you weight 65 pounds soaking wet, all THAT is annoying.

So.....you violated someone's space, he muttered something sotto voce, then you went and wrote an angry screed about it?

Hardly. Digital downloads in general, which happened to take off in popularity after broadband speeds massively increased circa 2005 (around the same time as Steam started) saved PC gaming.

I think Valve is single-handedly keeping PC gaming going.

The Creation Engine is very clearly a modified Gamebryo engine.

Source hasn't aged well either, despite all the updates.
There are some MAJOR shortcomings for Source.

But yea, Creation is a revision of Gamebryo, and Gamebryo was what Morrowind used.

The fact that Fallout 3 came out right around the same time as Metal Gear Solid 4......and the animations in MGS4 were AMAZING while the

Creation is just a modded and re-titled Gamebryo.

Yes they do.
The Skyrim engine is just ANOTHER modded version of the Gamebryo engine.

They don't use the Gamebryo engine anymore...
