I don't think it sounds like that at all. Shutting down Xbox is ultimately irrational. Microsoft isn't losing money overall, the XBO is nowhere near as unprofitable as the OGX or 360 were in their first few years when they were haemorrhaging money. Xbox is also Microsoft's most liked brand, one of the most

Well it only happens rarely for big ticket items that make the news, so it wouldn't cost them too much, but still.

Absolutely, upon bidding, 10% of the product cost should automatically be deducted from your account (to be reimbursed if you lose) and then the second you win, you should automatically pay the remaining 90%.

This is the same thing with literally EVERY 'big' eBay auction that comes on the news. It would be great if ebay truly enforced the 'if you bid, you buy' rule, and went after people who didn't pay and sued the shit out of them, but alas, it's not financially viable.

Exactly. This seems like the most bizarre attempt to manufacture controversy- this was a one-off glitch that was very quickly repaired.

Haha, they're the kind of people who believe that *any* inheritance is morally wrong. I imagine it'll all get left to their favourite orchestra or concert hall.

Seriously, though, Ikea is the home of all cheap rich people. My parents, who are unreasonably wealthy but refuse to spend money on anything for fear that they will live to 150 and run out of retirement money, only buy furniture from there.

Not sure what you're saying. White people aren't being oppressed. This policy will, however, lead to privileged white people thinking that any black or female colleagues they have might just be diversity hires, rather than equal coworkers, which can only be a bad thing.

I'm openly admitting that I, a privileged individual born into the upper-middle class, have MAYBE (you never *truly* know why you're hired) benefited from these programs. The fact is that poor black kids from the ghetto don't become investment bankers. I would sit down at 'minority summits' with other people in the

It's not that I have any major sympathy for them, I simply think that this type of programme often backfires, and leads to people being assumed to be employed just because of their race or gender, rather than their skills.

I was under the impression that affirmative action means that if you have two candidates who pass all the tests, have the qualifications/grades etc.., and one is white, one is black, or one is male, one is female, you always have to take the minority/woman. Is that incorrect?

So basically, if you're a standard middle-class straight white male, it's probably not worth applying for a job at Intel right now. On the one hand, I understand why these things happen, but on the other, I massively disagree with 'affirmative action' policies. I'm a black man in banking- I've massively benefited

There's all the reputation gear, cosmetic gear from launch, event gear, all the tiers of pvp and raiding gear still in there, and all the levelling gear.

And not only is there a huge variety of outfits available free, but literally everything in the entire game on the cartel market can be bought for ingame credits on the GTN.

F2P saved the game, and as a subscriber, you still get everything except the (cosmetic) outfits and stuff on the cartel market included.

>Gets to level 60 in game (endgame

SWTOR's F2P model is little more than a shitty free trial. The only things you don't get with a sub are the outfits on the cartel market which most people don't care about, and which can be purchased for credits (or with the free 500 cc) on the gtn.

The 4v1 concept just wasn't great. Austin's a good team these days, they've turned SWTOR into a fantastic game.

It is absolutely fantastic. The plot and gameplay is only rather good, but the world and atmosphere and music is incredible.

Really? I massively enjoyed it. The game was dripping with atmosphere, and the open world wasn't stuffed with pointless side activities with which to waste one's time (the random shootouts added drops of extra flavour imho).
