Could we not agree though, that 'the friendzone' is just another way of saying unrequited love, but also subconsciously blaming it on the friendzone-er.

Anyone who nicknames their crush 'Strawberry' is probably a bit creepy anyway.

The problem with Korean MMOs is that all their graphical fidelity is in the characters. The environment (even in Black Desert) look great from a distance but up close I guarantee you they have the same low-res texture issues that plague other MMOs. It's like Aion- great faces/bodies, but mediocre graphics for the

The only way to get around the requirement is to register a game time card. (This is all for sub-MMOs of course).

Yeah, all MMOs require you to enter your credit card information to play the free 30 days.

Significantly more content means you have more options while levelling- pop into the story-based Bounty Hunting missions, try out the new 8v8 PVP maps, grab a team and do some Arenas, etc... There's a lot of fun to be had.

I imagine they want to avoid the endless urban sprawl that ruined the landscapes of SWG.

Must be why :P

The cutscenes, great animation and zany characters from the trailers? Yeah, they don't exist in the game. Most quests are WoW-style text boxes, and the very limited cutscenes they have are basically panned camera angles and shitty voice acting, literally Neverwinter Nights circa 2003 style in terms of quality.

From everything I've played of this game so far, I was unbelievably disappointed. It is WoW circa 2005. Story and plot are non-existant. Graphics are mediocre.

Lots of people visit each other's houses in MMOs. Whether you RP or just enjoy decorating, have a place to meetup is great and it's always interesting to see what your friends have done.

I suppose. The interesting thing about SW:TOR's ships is that they are the only areas in the game NOT designed from prefabricated texture sets. The class ships are perfectly recreated, texture-for-texture, from the concept art, and the walls, doors, and other parts used in them are never reused in the rest of the

Honestly just suck it up at this point. They made a decision to make an MMO, which hundreds of thousands of people enjoy playing every week. And given that it's still bringing in $130m a year 2 years after launch, it's already made more money than KOTOR 3's 4 or 5 million units ever would.

Is SW:TOR as great as it was hyped up to be? No.

There is ship customization to a degree. Mailboxes, Auction House terminals, server droids etc.. can all be added, customized and changed. Visual customization, however, is impossible given how many of the game's cutscenes are setup onboard the player's ship.

Thanks for alerting me to this shitstain of a post from like 2 years ago. My attitude has improved since then.

I thought this was pretty damn fun.

Exactly. A mobile rig will always be expensive, but if you're sparing no expense and spending a couple grand, might as well get a PC that will play high end games at high settings for more than a year or two.

If I'm going to spend $2000 on a gaming laptop, I'll do so on a system that has a high end GPU. The 765m is the equivalent of a barely mid-range desktop card, perhaps around the level of the GT650 or something like that.

I was in the beta and honestly I thought it was competent and immersive, but hardly mind blowing- especially the main story was feeble at best. And I got to 12.
