Sure, optimization does have HUGE impact, but 5, 6, or 7 times the impact? Doubtful.

Even comparing games like Gears of War or Mass Effect or Uncharted (which launched in 2007, pretty close to when the current generation hit) to the most beautiful games of last generation like Jade Empire or God of War, and there was a HUGE improvement. Even the best looking PC GAMES of last generation were hugely…
People will be really disappointed when they realise that Next Gen won't see anywhere near this level of graphical improvement.
Nothing to see here except another $100,000,000 in wasted money. Move along.
Because it literally means that according to most major critics, GTAIV was THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME. ever. full stop.
I really hope this doesn't get 98% on Metacritic again.
If you have a rare disease and want a cure, the best thing you can do is infect a rich person.
Oh I couldn't agree more, Blade Runner absolutely is a masterpiece.
Hmm, well on PC it depends. In RPGs like Dragon Age, I'd wager the majority of (non MMO) players pause, click skills, unpause, in which case they probably don't touch the number keys very often.
But that's just it. The wheel is, in many ways (takes up less of screen, easier to separate viewpoints, known structure) far superior to the simple listing of dialogue options like older RPGs.
One videogame patent that I was really surprised about was Bioware's dialogue wheel.
Every goddamn 'adult' game these days is dark. They all seem to think that by making the world brown, adding rape/torture, and putting in some sex, they will make something better.
Brilliant. This and the art director of DA3 saying they were going for 'way less' grey/brown and more bright colours is music to my RPG ears.
You are what is wrong with 'mature' gaming today.
Problem is the only company that does them is owned by the guy who made LA Noire who is absolutely hated by Rockstar.
It'll be something like "Trademark of 'Titan' with regards to action-based computer software" or something like that.
Send me a message when you get there!
What did you think of War in the North?
Sorry, unfortunately I have no experience with that lottery- our mental frequencies aren't on the same wavelengths. But should you want the results for the state lottery in the Swiss Canton of Jura in December 2014, I'd be happy to provide them.
Which lottery would you like?
