I agree, they don't seem to start terribly quickly.

I just watched the first 2 seasons on netflix, I think that's why I liked them better. If I watched a below average episode, the next one would make up for it. I think the Hong Kong ones are good, they had kind of filled up their stuff about the island.

I'm more confused about why she hates him so much.

There's a difference between referencing and ripping off.

I don't even care! The boxing glove was an awesome reference.

It was finally a useful flip!

What's the importance with Cupid?

I wasn't as disappointed with the episode as you were. I thought Laurel had a big improvement. I liked Roy in the second half of the episode, the only thing I really hated was the amount of time they spent on "did roy kill sara". It was very obvious he didn't and was just remembering the cop. I felt the difference

I was more irked by her saying the DA doesn't have to seek an indictment. I remember thinking "There's no way you're that high up the food chain"

Didn't diggle get ted out?

I thought it was written so that Roy could have a fight scene

I think the writing on that scene was so terrible that there was nothing they can do.

I'd rate this more as a B. I thought the story with Laurel was interesting. The parallel with roy was forced and not subtle at all, but Amell seemed to have great chemistry and convey sympathy for roy and a desire not to give up on him. I'd say the difference in killing the cop vs killing sara is that they can

I liked Laurel in this episode. It was going away from just being something there to bounce the plot back to oliver. Oliver in this episode was overly hypocritical.

Isn't eiling outright evil but waller is "the ends justify the means"?

I was hoping for more during the scene with barry when she sees him in costume.

It made it kind of funny that he stopped working with eiling over his methods.

To me it seemed that he was protecting barry from eiling.

I stopped watching Gotham after episode 2, did it get any better?

And we should all be happy for that
