Depending on conditions (ice storms, bro-dozers) this sounds like a decent opportunity for a bicycle purchase. At least as a second option, leaving the bus as a third.

You’re assuming that most people can afford the car outright.

i dunno about any of you but i have been losing money for about a year in the market so i would pay down even a 2% interest debt. except now is a good time to buy stock. fuck i dunno what i’m doing. but i do know that sitting in a new car makes me feel better about the world turning to shit.

Gallego is cool as hell and if they don’t make a campaign shirt that says “I would have killed all those motherfuckers to save this democracy. Fuck those guys.” I will be deeply upset.

“We could argue different ways about how to do it, but at the core, if you’re more likely to be meeting with the powerful than the powerless, you’re doing this job incorrectly,” Gallego’s voiceover said.

Symbolism (all these stupid hand gestures, etc.) is really just what stupid people think intellectualism is.

Dam, son.

When I called a Kia dealer for the last time ever, they told me the $2,500 markup they had listed online for the EV6 was actually $15,000. I politely told the salesperson that was dishonest and absurd, and he told me “deal with it, maybe it will go down next year” and hung up on me. I was like, I’ll be damned. All the

sued a local newspaper in 2021 for defamation after the Scranton Times-Tribune mentioned a 2010 indictment against Godlewski for “corruption of a minor” in a profile about him.

Welcome to the electric future. If it wasn’t an Chinese backed refinery, it would have been a NA company, a EU company, or etc...

The man is practically incoherent. How do his followers track what his point is, if intelligent people can barely do so?

The question is becoming will Twitter replace them?

Is a replacement even needed?

Are you saying Gab, Parler, and Truth Social aren’t viable Twitter replacements?

Twitter now has around $1B in yearly interest payments due to the buyout. Before, Twitter just about broke even. With a recession coming on advertisers tend to reduce spending. So Twitter has to cut costs and find new revenue streams. Streams that will probably annoy their users.

Every interaction I’ve had with a kia dealer has been poor. 3x I’ve gone in on a car I wanted to check out, one time I was even ready to buy, and each time the experience was awful in unique ways. If I’m ever buying a kia, I’m buying a used car off of someone.

Did you go to sleep in 2002 and just now wake up? This is the SUV hill you’re going to die on?

I watched Copland! I know what I’m talking about.

That unveiling presentation was torture. I’ve been to many auto show press events, but this one was painful to watch. With each description of an engineering marvel (and there are many marvels in this vehicle), the rational consumer in me saw the MSRP rise from $60K, to $70, to $80K and beyond.

But you weren’t - hiyooooooo.
