Oh, no! What have they done to that Javelin?!?!
This just breaks my heart. I've told this story here before, but in high school, I drove a 1973 VW camper van (also with the weirdo automatic trans) that looked absolutely cherry. The canvas was all there, the cots were functional and the sink even held/pumped water. I loved that vehicle and drove it whenever I…
I think the car is great...just asking about 40% too much for a NP vote. I even like the quad square headlamps...
I like 15-17's on a Chevelle...15's are about perfect for the car. Just picked up some vintage 14" slot mags (mainly for budgetary reasons) which will probably end up with 60 to 70-series tires for my Javelin. Lots of sidewall like that needs broken up with white letter tires.
Sheriff JW Pepper was just 3 years later, as well.
pretty sure it's a...
Yeah, to be fair, the one I got for my daughter was the new recasting, in silver. The one I attached earlier is the one I had as a kid, which I think is in a box in the attic.
Actually, it's a Lambo
I love the Greased Gremlin. Bought my 5-year-old daughter one, with the stipulation that I get to drive it whenever I want.
Pretty sure the question is about a Lambo, dude.
We're not sinking, we're crashing!!!!!
Alfalfa good pun. It rye-minds me wheat life's all about.
I like your style, man.
My fully loaded 96 Mustang GT convertible (every option but rear axle ratio and auto trans) went for ~$29 when new (I didn't buy it new). With the same options, a 2013 is listed on the "build your own" Ford site for $40,095. I didn't try to add any more options beyond what was available in '96, but those add up…
As another example, the small private university I attended (beginning in 1994) was $16,500 including room/board. The same school is listed this year (again, including room/board) for 2012: $38,842.
It looks like they did a factory Rally wheel with the redline, and a steelie/hubcap combo with a whitewall - I'm guessing the mismatch/options that Proud mentioned is the reasoning...
Was she going for "Papa's got a brand new bag?" I'm cornfused...
Golden Corral has a chocolate fountain now?!? Why did no one tell me!?!
Trying...my dad bought it brand new and I "inherited" it over a decade ago. Family priorities have kind of put it on the backburner for now but on occasion I tinker with it late at night while everyone sleeps. Needs lots of sheetmetal but the drivetrain is (finally) solid.
