Read the disclaimer at the bottom. It lets you know it was a jest.
Ubisoft is a French company. In France they don’t care about people’s feelings because in France everyone is an asshole. So more than likely this is Matt and Trey doing their usual social commentary silliness.
(The first part might be a bit sarcastic.)
Right. She left the relationship. Good outcome.
Oh I agree. She did the right thing by leaving the relationship. And yes, some states have goofy laws about domestic disturbances.
Unless he just smashed a bunch of his own stuff. Then he is just stupid and was punished appropriately by having his stuff busted up.
So you’re mad that Microsoft doesn’t go out of it’s way to police speech and then you specifically use an awful word that almost everyone agrees should be policed.
You’re not only an asshole you’re a hypocritical one.
(Some say context matters but you used it specifically where it didn’t need to be used just to say it.)

You don’t do good. Superman does good. You do well.
It puts the lotion on it’s skin, or else it gets the hose again!
You do that nowadays in racing games the game will ghost you after about 2 seconds.
Thank you. Dude was speeding. Did he deserve to die? No. Is it still the driver’s fault? Yes!
Forza 7 does that in cockpit” view. If it’s on your windshield it stays in the same place on your screen most of the time and then my brain thinks my TV is dirty 10 times a race.
This might make sense if a CD, as in compact disc:
Were floppy.
Or dry out.
Or brittle.
CDs protective coating didn’t exist.
Or depend on magnetic charges to store data.
Jewel Cases didn’t exist.
Mass majority of public didn’t realize CDs could scratch.
PEOPLE STILL USED CDs
3-4? Try 9-10. Activision. It was absolutely horrifying how they milked that for a couple years.
Rock Band 3 was the pinnacle of that whole craze. .....and it came out when everyone was tired of it already. (The “pro” instruments were too hard and niche was a stupid critique.)
Fair enough. At least that logic makes sense.
So if they are/were committing massive fraud in order to give good prices, like is being alleged, would you still want them around? Not being accusatory just trying to figure out your logic.
Easily. When I was playing Sunset I felt like I was playing JSRF and Ratchet and Clank at the same time. The Ratchet and Clank influence should be obvious because they were made by the same dev.
(Maybe throw a little old school Tony Hawk in too.)
Nice investigative reporting here Nathan. Talking to people and doing some research. I enjoyed that you did it yourself. Too many an article nowadays on the internet are just reposts or aggregation.

I’m not getting into this argument but downloading your ROMs onto other media hasn’t been %100 settled to be legal. That’s why I added “possibly” illegal emulation.
My question is why Kotaku is covering this when they don’t cover a lot of other things in the same vein that walk that legal line.
