Yea. back in the 90's Consoles were advertised based on their bits. This died during the Xbox/PS2 generation.

First time I booted up Halo: CE on the Xbox I was in awe. That is the game that killed the “bit wars” argument. That Halo was running on something the same “bit” as Ps2 killed it.
