Preorder
Preorder
Shh, quit being rational. That doesn’t fly on this blog.
Yep! That’s the only point I’ve made. I’m not saying it’s accurate in a huge city. I’m also not giving an opinion on preordering in general.
You remember that the Wii was sold out everywhere within a day of resupply for almost two years, right?
Nope, didn’t ever pose a question as to why you should/shouldn’t preorder. I said you don’t need to. I did say it was a little silly in a response to you though. Still haven’t advocated to do it or not.
Tekken Tag and Timesplitters aren’t in the same category as Mario 64 or Halo. Those 2 games are why I bought the 64 and Xbox. I bought a PS2 a year later when Final Fantasy X came out.
Haha, I live in Minneapolis. So your statement holds true for me too if you replace “rednecks” with “hipsters.”
No, it wasn’t. I decided to go get one in the spring of 2007 and found it in the 1st Best Buy i walked into.
My criticism is more towards preorders than Gamestop in this instance. However, there are multiple other reasons I don’t patronize Gamestop. The main one being that Amazon costs me less and I don’t have to go out then.
A good question! Not one I posed or was discussing but a good one nonetheless! Another good question would be why are there even preorders if Nintendo already said what their stock is going to be on launch day? Will a ton of preorders make Nintendo manufacture more for launch day? It’s all rather silly. (Although…
I don’t understand this for new Sony consoles. They have never launched with must have or even great launch games. Why do people want a shiny new console that doesn’t have anything to play?
Microsoft isn’t much better in that regard.
Nintendo, has had a past of having awesome launch games though. (Mario 64, Super…
A valid point. I can’t see it reaching Wii 2006 hysteria. But yes, you may have to show up at store opening. Usually, you can go to a sotre not known exclusively for electronics and find one rather easily. Like a Toys’R’Us or a Macy’s.
No you don’t. You don’t need to preorder to guarantee you’ll get one. You don’t. No, you really don’t. Every store allocates some of their stock to preorders. Some. Not all. You don’t need to preorder to guarantee you’ll get one.
Edit: Nope, still don’t.
You don’t need to preorder to get one on launch day. That’s the point.
Oh no, one might have to go across the street and buy one at Target for the same price on launch day.
I love how this entire blog entry culminated in Totilo Butt
Haha, I’m used to crazies on Gawkers. I’m just glad when people can have rational things to say on here!
I get your logic. I even share it for the most part. But, it inevitably leads to the question, “What would qualify someone for this HUD position?” Being engrossed in running other government assistance programs for decades? Having a PHD in social work? Being a former Senator of 20 years?
Trump, and Conservatives’,…
Hey! Someone else who can define what a real white supremacist is!
So uh....... what’s your shtick topic thing?
