These emmys were pretty good. Other than the bore of veep and JLD winning yet again, I was on board with pretty much everything. I was shocked at Ann Dowd winning over Thandie Newton (the ONLY good part of Westworld) but she is a great, great actress, so good for her.

WW for sure made much more money to the studio than bvs (on total b.o. alone, bvs made around 50 million more than ww, but it was 100 million more expensive to make, so ww already wins there). That said, calling BvS b.o. mild is just ridiculous.

BvS made more Worldwide than wonder woman. You can argue that a movie with the two biggest superheroes in the world SHOULD have hit a billion dollars and I would agree. But if BvS b.o. is mild so is wonder woman’s.

Yeah, I was really bummed they killed her before she showed any actual power. like, I think she was great up to that, but they undermined her character by killing her so easily. there should have been an actual fight.

uh, lets see how this works. honestly I think we (the royal we) get used to new things pretty quick. I always had issues with disqus, many times taking very long to load comments and other times not letting me comment at all. if this is fixed I’ll welcome our new kinja overlords.
