Last year I shaved my full and bushy beard into a Col. Sanders configuration for a costume.  I expected to get a lot of shit for it at work, but very few people said anything.  I'm still confused by that.

My only interesting (maybe) new dish recently was butternut squash tacos.   I roasted a butternut squash, mashed it with cumin and chili powder bloomed in olive oil, and squeezed in some orange.  smeared it on fresh corn tortillas with some basic black beans, cilantro, and sour cream.  I was very happy with it.

I saw Pansy Division open for Greenday in the mid 90's in Oakland.  It was goddamn hilarious.  There were a bunch of 14 year old kids being dropped off by their parents to see Greenday, and then there were groups of queercore punks in assless pants.
