You know what? I don't really care about the rest of his policies. In fact, I don't honestly care that it's Perry saying this. Whatever I may think of him, if he's doing something good for the video game industry here, then let THAT decision ride. I can argue his merits or lack thereof elsewhere.

@dowingba: Well, to be fair, Neversoft are the ones responsible for the Guitar Battles, so your love of Guitar Hero really isn't negated by any of that. The boss battles in general, while neat in principle, are just downright annoying.

@Prodigy_BE: I would so very much like to say that we got here because we know better than to use apostrophes to designate plurals, but we both know that's not true. Not at all.

I'm sort of confused by this whole situation, honestly. Coming out the doors and saying, "Hey, we've got Spore! It's the special 320x480 Facsimile Edition!" just doesn't seem all that impressive. Why would I be at all enthused about playing a miniaturized version of something that will pull at all of my PC system

@Soleyu: Do you know what animation style they're aiming for? Seeing as it's a Japanese franchise, I would have assumed something anime-based, but Warren Ellis being tossed into the equation sort of confuses that instinct.

@Soleyu: My more favorable impression likely comes from the fact that my former room mate was the one telling me everything.

Watching this E3 is like watching a game of naked Twister. Everyone's junk is all up on everyone else's junk, and some of them have a financial obligation to enjoy it.

@Soleyu: Isn't it just the most bland script?

Watching a Belmont not-quite-kill Dracula with a whip on the silver screen would feel too much like reading a fetish fic off of an Anne Rice website.

Thankfully I have strong wrists and big pockets, so my DS Lite is just fine.

So the XMB and Apple got together at Microsoft for a drunk boink, and a high res Mii popped out.

Not that I particularly like the game or anything (I don't), but wouldn't this basically knock Guitar Hero somethingsomething Tour off the list for anyone who purchased a new model since it requires the GBA slot for that adapter?

@Smash88: You do realize, of course, that for every lawyer defending a guilt man, there is at least one lawyer trying to prosecute him and have justice carried out, right?

As much as I don't really care for anything on that list (though In Flames might at least be fun to PLAY), I can't really fault them for it. I mean, the game never claimed that it catered to any specific genre, so it makes sense that it would eventually pull a bunch of stuff that people who post on a gaming site (or

@RatsOffToYa: The man is so nice he bleeds kittens. That's pretty hard to top.

@Milkzhakes: It's 300 dollars for an electronic drumset that can be hooked up to a drum brain and run through an amplifier to actually play drums electronically. The whole point of this premium package is that you can actually learn to play drums using the game's built in trainer, and then used the kit to play for

@IAO6: As someone who's both a musician and rather anal about rhythm (I've spent well over an hour calibrating lag manually on certain TVs), I find that lag compensating can be used to compensate to some extent. I still notice a bit of it on the drum kit, but I don't think that destroys the potential of this as a

It always drove my friend and me nuts back in highschool that no one knew the title of the song was Baba O'Riley, but they all knew 'Teenage Wasteland.'
