Ok, you can think that but it doesn't change what the show is. So when you ask me of that's something that was needed, I think it is
Ok, you can think that but it doesn't change what the show is. So when you ask me of that's something that was needed, I think it is
Yeah, but it is. And if it's going to have more than one season, I think they need to broaden their story a bit, especially as they'll presumably be delving more and more into non-book territory
You might not need it, but I want it. I don't think you can make the Handmaid's Tale a series instead of a mini-series without more widely exploring all the characters and the world. I liked the focus on Serena Joy, and I don't have an issue expanding the focus to include the men of Gilead. I think the only reason the…
Agree. Not to diminish the seriousness of what's happening on the show, but nick needs a crazy ex girlfriend style 'I'm the villain in my own story' realisation.
I feel like giving nick a backstory does exactly what giving Serena joy a backstory does. It's never as simple as- she's the villain she's evil, he's an ally he's amazing. Everyone in this society that has even a modicum of power is complicit, but that doesn't necessarily make them evil. I think the point is to show…
To me, it's that the show portrays the ability to believe in many things manifests in different gods. You don't need to believe in an after life or a supreme being etc to believe in something. But Laura appeared to believe in nothing, put her faith in nothing
I never understood that kind of participation trophies criticism of millennials. They realise it is not the kids awarding themselves right? It's their parents. Blame them!
I highly recommend you watch it, if for no other other reason than Josh Charles is extremely likable in it
Yeah I think you're completely right about adore. It actually felt like she legitimately grew, although I also appreciated that Bianca realised that a) none of the queens were quite on her level and b) she needed to be softer, and so took adore under her wing. It's what made me so disappointed by adore in AS2
HA drag is adjectives. Dying
I really enjoyed this episode! everyone was having so much fun, but God I am glad Nina went home. The negativity just became so exhausting and repetitive it became harder to sympathise with her week after week. Also, your drag cannot just be your face! It is not a makeup face-painting competition! I was so over that…
I prefer multiple, although I didn't think Bianca's season was boring at all, as I thought the top three had pretty distinctive skills, even if Bianca was so much more polished and consistent, and Adore gave her a pretty good for her money. For me, season 3 and 7 were the most dull because Raja and Bob were always…
Oh GOD so more or less every beat of the story played out like everyone was predicting. That is a failure of writing twists on a how I met your mother finale level.
No. Using a female slur casually to someone you do not know is not the same as lack of attention to a comment in any sense of the word. They are not equivalents, stop pretending they are. If you want people to respect you, stop it.
I agree, I am excited for whats coming but I'm liking the flow and indulgence of the series so far.
I'm not telling you how you should feel, but I think slinging insults over what may or may not be a pedantic objection is out of line.
I read his reaction as surprise Laura could touch the scales, that she was right, not that Anubis let her do so
Not sure I really want to jump in here, but I don't think misreading or not really paying attention to a comment is really the same as calling someone a bitch out of the blue
It's kind of weird, everyone just calling everyone else a bitch.
I don't know if it's because I haven't read the book in a long time, or if its because I often like the way television and movies alter their book narratives, but I'm not nearly as angry as some of these commenters seem to be about the changes. I really like what Little is doing with Shadow- he's less passive, sure,…
