I'm sorry, you didn't understand the sketch.
I'm sorry, you didn't understand the sketch.
I didn't think we were supposed to sympathize with him.
Actually, now that you mention it, there are a few odd things that don't add up. For example, Beadie greets Mindy by telling her she's from the Good Place, but Trevor doesn't directly say he's from the Bad Place. Which is odd, since this would be Trevor's first introduction to Mindy. Beadie also says that Mindy…
But then, why is a woman standing in for Michael? Wouldn't it be more consistent for Michael to appear as representative of the Good Place, and not some character we've never met?
I think the welcome video for the Medium Place would suggest the place is in fact real. Because it doesn't feature Michael as representative of the Good Place, even though it does feature Trevor representing the Bad Place. If it were all a ruse, wouldn't it make sense that Michael be in the video?
This show continues to be weird, but not in the sense of the sight gags, or over the top storylines. It's the fact that quite often, Josh seems like an afterthought. Which is strange, since he's the star of the show. This was especially true of last season, when they had that episode that focused on Josh's love…
A - Yes, because Britt Lower isn't that funny.
He also played a judge on Man Seeking Woman.
I think Patrick Warburton could have made it work. Besides looking bigger than JDM, I imagine Negan as being more of an obnoxious jock, something I really don't get from JDM. Also, Warburton always plays things very cool, and deadpan, and distant, and I think that would make him scarier, somehow. His face is so…
I think he has poor instincts as an actor. But I also think they should have gone with a more physically imposing actor.
So are you.
Yeah, that's what kind of annoyed me about her "this place is a joke" comments. Yeah, the general vibe in town is a bit loopy, but they're growing food. They learning to fight, and when they go out, they wear some protective gear. If anything, this place is more prepared to live in such a world than any other we've…
Can a bitch get a doughnut?
No way, Kevin Roberts is the baddest bitch in this town.
I was disappointed that Larry David's Kevin Roberts didn't show up at the end.
And something else happens, ah do do do do dooo!
The only reason Zamata has lasted this long is because of the past controversy surround SNL's lack of black women on the show. She's really done nothing to establish herself.
I guarantee you this show becomes a hit.
For a sport that has lost a lot of fan goodwill over things like the 1994 baseball strike, and numerous players caught (or suspected) of doing steroids, wouldn't MLB want to attract fans with such a story as a women making the big leagues?
Martin Shkreli, is that you?
