Their video production annoys me. Swathes of poorly-lit red and green.

Well they did average above 88mph. It’s entirely possible.

Ford is allegedly sending most of their 50,000 to Europe, which is a real pain.

My one suggestion to you about cycling (apart from a helmet and dressing appropriately for the weather) is to use flashing daytime running lights. They help other people realize you’re there and keep you in their sights. I notice that I get a lot more space when I have the lights going.

Pretty much. Cars are almost insensitive to the weight of a single passenger, unless they’re going up hills.

My wife and I flew from Australia to Rome and back last year, then to North America the year before that.

I wonder if in future journalism might rely more on local reporters. Instead of flying a person from NY to Seattle, they commission a freelancer, or publications share pools of local reporters. I’m aware that everything has its drawbacks, but that might be part of the solution in this industry at least.

Starred for being absolutely right. Exxon-Mobil might be pulling billions of gallons from the earth’s crust, but they’re doing it to fill up our Miatas and Tellurides. Same goes for any other company. If we want to make change, a big part of it is putting our money where our mouth is.

Worse. Because films like that are honest about the fact that they’re stupid entertainment.

As an Australian, I disagree. Seat coolers are the greatest car feature.

That’s a cool looking electric assist bike.

Still true for some cars. The owners manual for most BMWs has a section on optional lights, including indicators.

It doesn’t matter. As Trump proved, you can lie consistently because perception beats reality in the war for people’s minds.

Everyone who complains that the GT-R hasn’t been properly updated for 12 years should consider that its replacement already exists.

Now playing

Rio Tinto is already making money on AVs.

Congratulations, I guess?

They’re pretty easy, if the car has a short wheelbase. I did one without any practice while being chased on foot, when I was 16.
