Same here. I remember the regional TV channels playing that trailer by me in the 70's and it absolutely freaked me out. Also I’ll add that I share the same last name as that family which really freaked me out.

I can’t disagree with that in any sense.
Same here. The OP is right in that most Troma films are pretty terrible, but it’s also because they just basically Roger Corman style distribute EVERYTHING. But that being said, Toxic Avenger, Nuke ‘Em High, Terror Firmer were all really good exploitation films. KabukiMan wasn’t bad either.
That bottom picture just made my day
At least we have ‘Badlands’ to enjoy together...
So if he narrated one of his films I guess that would make sense...what about films he’s not in or is very cursory in by that logic?
Please read Yummsh post above. I don’t think he should be ‘booted’ from making films, but I am curious as to why you feel that way.
I’m down with that. And I’m not a skinny teen kid so I’d be willing to throw down if they come swinging.
We had an old 8-track console that was in this two ton piece of furniture that included a record player, radio and speakers. I vividly remember that “Clu-Clunk” sound!
I pretty much learned guitar to the High ‘n’ Dry album. That and Ramonesmania, oddly enough. I could figure the Ramones stuff by ear and I actually got the Def Lep tab books for Christmas.
I wouldn’t say amazing but it’s been...tolerable.
Man I love that show. I wish it could have went on longer.
I was a HUGE Def Lep fan as a pre-teen and in my early teens. Hysteria killed that for me.
Fully agreed. I was also 10 when this came out and while I outgrew it, there are songs on here that are still pretty great. I love “Stagefright” and that intro and the two songs you named as well.

He was a guy who was supposed to be the ‘Brad Pitt’ of the 70's. Super good looking, groomed for stardom, and it just never happened. My first memory of him was on ‘Danger Island’ (I think that was the name) the live action segments on the “Banana Splits” TV show. He made a ton of good 70's “B” movie fare as well.
That is so fucking perfect.
Oh Hai Sulu...
