ES File Explorer gets my vote over this. Sounds like a very similar feature set (does everything listed in the article but I'm not sure on encrypted zips as they are kinda worthless these days) but is completely free.
Three steps to a great apology:
The board was etched at home, it's only 6,5x2cm, so it was cheap, probably around 20 or 30 cents. The electronic components probably cost around 3 or 4 euros (those relays are kind of expensive). I had to purposely buy the LDR to use as a light sensor, but other than that I used what I had laying around in the…
What is the specific risk you have in mind? It's pretty hard to break a keyboard. There is of course the risk of PCB damage while taking the LEDs out, but that should be easy to fix with a bodge wire, the LEDs share the +5v rail and the cathodes are connected with a resistor to a single power transistor.
Nope, not a gaming rig, this is my work keyboard. I deal with electronics almost on a daily basis, I was pretty confident I would not break it and if I did, I was confident I would find a way to fix it.
Worthwhile investments as in he likely spent up and beyond $2K on the computer that he hooked it to
