Since when did Apple place chipset stickers on their computers?

(The one-hand argument is totally valid: I was strongly considering getting the Note rather than carrying a tablet AND a phone, but the Note isn't available on Verizon.)

No.

Someone on a forum that I frequent asked a very similar question, a quick Google found:

Maybe, but I'm talking about the POS system that a newly opened local Pizza Restaurant is using. iPad for the bar's cash register, iPods for the servers, although the Note would be a better device what with it's pen & a screen in portrait large enough to handle a signature made by the pen or a finger tip.

Especially, as if you know where to look, you can find a copy of the Pandora Android App which doesn't play any ads and offers infinite skips.

The flight crew will need software which will handle credit card sales for in flight drinks, snacks, skymall etc.

The real question of sanity in providing electronic devices to it's employees by a cash starved company is why aren't they providing the Pilots with Galaxy note tablets?

It was released with Gingerbread, ICS was pushed to the North American models last month, with a promise of JellyBean later this year.

Maybe not, the documentation & equipment that they're replacing electronically costs money too, & after the initial hardware outlay, the media costs will be miniscule compared to providing printed mega-manuals for every member of crew relating to their functions on every type of vehicle that they're expected to work

Are you thinking of the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet?

Additional: Those cars with a waiting list are usually priced far out of reach of the mass market. Most of the destroyed cars are either of the high priced waiting list or of the low priced waiting to be bought varieties.

Only a few marques have models that have a waiting list. 99.9999% of the time, there are millions of new vehicles waiting for owners on dealer's lots.

I'm against it, purely because it is one less device that COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE HANDS OF SOMEONE THAT WOULD BE USING IT, inside of waiting for the one currently on backorder.

nvm

I hold my phone that way also, did so with my iPhones, and now with my Galaxy Note. Even with my smaller than most male's hands, I can reach all but the top 1/2" of the screen.

No, it's terrible Humans laying Five-Lane Highway in Duck's path.

One carrier in the UK goes LTE next month, the rest will follow next year, Samsung is pushing to have the first European LTE phone which won't have a processor less than what they are already used to.

AT&T gave me $170 for my 32GB, Aug2010 i4 when I used my upgrade back in June.
