There really are no words anymore......

Absolutely, it’s a huge positive to see counseling normalized, because it’s hugely beneficial to a lot of people, but is too frequently presented as a sign of weakness or failing.

This is so important for the many women who have struggled with infertility and loss. It is such an isolating experience. To talk openly about the pain of feeling like your body is broken is so powerful. I’m so glad she was able to have her girls.

Seriously! Can’t wait to see her interview and get my hands on her book. Just from this excerpt I’m so impressed with how open she is. If more people talked about common problems we face as humans, I  think the world would be a better place.

Indeed! Husband and I have never gone to couple’s therapy, but *I* go to therapy, and we talk about it a lot. And we expressly use the principles I learn in therapy to help us resolve our own issues. It’s a powerful tool.

I’m so glad she’s talking about her miscarriage and infertility. I felt like such a failure as a woman because it was difficult for me to conceive, and so alone on this journey. Then I met so many other women who also suffered from PCOS and I found so much hope. Knowing a strong and accomplished woman like her also…
