I had kind of hoped Bayonetta 2 would be doing better.
I had kind of hoped Bayonetta 2 would be doing better.
Haha, if this isn't ranting, I don't know what is. :)
Yeah, I forget how lucky I am - I got into one of the top 100 universities in the world, straight from my state-run schools. I was one of the last to get through on the "grants" system in my country.
Maybe it's all cheap where you live. Cigarettes and alcohol are taxed like crazy here. Like, for the cost of 20 packs of cigarettes, you could have a fairly large refrigerator. Or two Xbox 360s.
Uh, you too? :)
When you're right on the breadline, no amount of money is an "insignificant sum". But the money that you put into something chemical to cope with your financial situation which becomes an addiction, that locks you in for life.
I don't care about who's abusing what. All I'm saying is that the chemical addiction in the last panel is part of what locks people into the cycle. The young people who turn to drink and cigarettes to ease their pain just end up with one more financial burden to lock them into a life of being poor.
I dunno who you're ranting at, but that's totally not what I was saying. All I'm saying is that alcohol and tobacco are part of what keeps this cycle going. If you're on the borderline and you turn to them to ease your troubles, all you get is one more financial burden. The young people with a chemical addiction turn…
Mine didn't either. I grew up living on food made out of mystery items, clothed in charity shop clothes and hand-me-downs, read everything I could from the local library... my parents happy that I had a quiet pastime on weekends because my mum was sleeping days due to her working the nightshift (as a nurse). I was…
Ah, the drink and cigarettes addiction cycle in the last panel should be drawn in the first panel. "We have no money for..." is often said by parents who burn and drink their money away.
This is my favourite music video of all time.
This was a mini weird Japanese games golden age for me. While us folks in Europe could complain about not getting the latest JRPGs... we got a load of cheap weird games like Demolition Girl, Pink Pong (it's ping pong with D3 girls and crazy special moves... and a really memorably awful title), Global Defense Force,…
I really miss 1990s style. It was so energetic, so exaggerated.
I mean people in Wales who have Welsh accents when they're speaking English...
Yeah, Microsoft do a single "British" accent and go "that's covered, yeah! Diversity!" and check off a little box. Doesn't work for anyone with any other strong regional accent - Brummie, Liverpudlian, Mancs, Geordie, West Country farmer-pirates, English-speaking Welsh... even Estuary despite being another London…
"adult toy collectors" - I think you should think of a different phrase, this one could give people the wrong idea.
I like this man! He is a game opener! A game player! The best kind of collector. Also he puts on a suit to show you his house, that's very cool. :)
This looks completely undercooked. Food poisoning ahoy!
Ah, you're in the UK too? A few months ago ShopTo.net were selling off their UK Vitas cheap, so I got one just for connecting to a 2nd account. I haven't got round to it yet. Keep an eye out for bargains.
Right, well, Vita region / account locking is complicated.
