Well said. And normally I would agree with you. However. . .these are not normal times; no, what’s happening in the US right now is a grotesque mockery of every ideal I’ve been clung to and fought for. You spelled it out beautifully.

And yet it’s a super expensive dress-like $4,500 or something. And it still looks ridiculous and cheap.

Between the dress and the cringe-worthy awkwardness of her attempts to insert herself in the conversation, she looks like a little kid who got to get all dressed up and stay up late for her parents’ cocktail party. Someone should have sent the au pair to whisk her off to bed.

I can’t get over the wardrobe. What she wore to the DMZ is okay, if a little low-cut for the context, but the flowy pastel dresses? Save those for baby showers. I think she’s going for “feminine” but it comes across like she doesn’t take the meetings seriously.

Basically, Ivanka wants the cred of a diplomat without the study, time investment or wisdom. All while doing it in princess clothes.  Must be nice.

The fuck is she wearing? I know she hasn’t worked a day in her life, but she could google business dress. She looks like a child going to an Easter egg hunt.

I really want to see a version of this with closed captioning. I had trouble hearing what was said, but wow, it looks insanely awkward. Like a freshman trying to impress the professors. Except they know the frosh’s daddy donated a ton of money to the school, so all they can do is give withering glances & slight

Nepotism Barbie wants to sit at the adult table. The look Lagarde gave her was amazing. I really don’t think you can undermine the Trump Administration any more than Donald himself has already done. The whole thing is a farce and an embarrassment.

Honestly, I think this is the grown-up version about how they used to give kids a little set of plastic wings when they got on the plane and told they they were honorary co-pilots ... only this time its honorary national security adviser instead of co-pilot and nuclear non-proliferation negotiation instead of a plane.

She thinks she is an American princess .

I don’t believe him for a second. Most artists would kill to own their masters, and whatever people say about Taylor Swift people almost universally agree she’s a good businesswoman. There is no way she turned down a chance to own her masters. Also, people have been bringing receipts about her talking for years about

He points out how unfair it is for her to take grievances to social media...by posting it to social media. Um, yeah, ok Justin.

Bieber, you recently collaborated with Chris Brown, so frankly I question your ability to judge character.

After sitting in many board meetings personally (part of my job), and after the garbage that was done to people like Ke$sha, Kelly Clarkson, JoJo, and countless others, I am never on the side of the record label, and am never inclined to believe whatever they put out. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like Taylor

Did you ever catch the short-lived ABC show, The Goode Family? It seemed almost exactly like KotH but the family were liberal. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I believe you can catch full episodes on YouTube.

I guess I should’ve said I didn’t enjoy it then as thoroughly as I enjoy it now. I do not have children, but I am uncle to three wonderful kids (soon to be five), and watching their antics has been both a source of joy and a series of, “DAMMIT, BOBBEH” moments.

...that, and as I’ve gotten older, it’s been easier to

Really? I vividly remember watching King of the Hill and enjoying it when I was six or seven. I’m sure I didn’t grasp a lot of the themes, but I remember thoroughly enjoying the episode with the tornado when Hank lost all his clothes and hid his penis behind a cactus.

Yet unlike The Simpsons, which received many games across multiple platforms, the world was only granted one King Of The Hill video game and it sucked.

I developed a deep, abiding love for King of the Hill over the years.  I was fifteen when it first aired, so I wasn’t quite in the target demographic, but now, as I near forty, I’ve developed a much stronger appreciation for its themes, setting, and the maturity (and humor) with which it handles both.

Probably because he lives inside 24/7 and does absolutely no work.
