I get the feeling Kevin Spacey is very disliked in Hollywood, for him to be ditched from all of his projects with this kind of haste. It’s like everyone was just looking for an excuse to be rid of him.

He also hasn’t really bothered to make any amends, if I remember correctly.

Christopher Plummer is a seasoned veteran, an actor’s actor, so he’s a great choice to get re-shoots done quickly.

I literally did a dramatic gasp when I read this headline. The removal of it from the AFI Festival and the seeming removal of it from the Oscar race made me and my brother (we’ve been running a Oscar pool since we were in middle school with a cousin of ours) think it was going to be a VOD thing.

Swapping out Spacey for Christopher Plummer is an upgrade in any context, regardless of allegations. Plummer > Spacey.
